The Qubic ecosystem is growing fast. As we continue to expand the boundaries of what’s possible with decentralized AI, mining, and governance, it’s time to empower those who share our vision.
Introducing the Qubic Grants Program — a powerful initiative designed to support individuals and teams building public goods and open-source infrastructure for the Qubic network. This isn’t just about funding projects. It’s about enabling the next generation of builders who will shape the future of decentralization.
Why we created the grants program
The core of Qubic has always been community. From the computors powering the network to the users exploring Aigarth and beyond, our strength comes from the people who believe in what we’re building.
But belief alone doesn’t write code, create tools, or launch apps. That’s where the Grants Program comes in.
We’re creating a sustainable, incentive-driven framework to support non-commercial development that benefits the entire network. If you’re working on something that improves Qubic — whether that’s a tool, a service, or infrastructure — we want to help you bring it to life.
What we’re looking for
This program isn’t for profit-driven ventures or flashy marketing campaigns. It’s for builders focused on impact and utility — the ones who write protocols, build wallets, launch explorers, and contribute directly to the backbone of the ecosystem.
We’re funding public goods. Things that help everyone in the network.
That means projects like:
- Developer tools for easier integration
- Front-end interfaces that improve usability
- Infrastructure for nodes, computors, or dApps
- Educational or documentation resources
- Explorers, dashboards, or data services
How it works
We’ve structured the grants process to ensure transparency, accountability, and real community participation:
- Proposal Submission – Builders submit a clear, detailed proposal outlining the project, timeline, and requested funding.
- Evaluation – The Steering Committee reviews each proposal to ensure it aligns with the goals of Qubic.
- Community Feedback – In some cases, proposals may be opened to community discussion or vote.
- Milestone-Based Funding – Funds are disbursed in stages based on measurable progress. This ensures builders deliver results, and contributors see value.
Steering committee oversight
Our grants are overseen by the Qubic Steering Committee, a group of trusted ecosystem members dedicated to growing the network responsibly.
The Committee’s role is to:
- Ensure fairness in funding decisions
- Track project progress and impact
- Provide guidance where needed
- Align incentives with long-term network growth
This isn’t just “free money.” It’s fuel for serious builders who want to make a lasting contribution to a decentralized future.
Why this matters now
We’re at a pivotal moment in Qubic’s journey. With new tools like Aigarth rolling out, increasing hashrate, and rising interest from miners and developers alike, we need infrastructure that keeps up with demand.
Grants help accelerate that growth — by giving builders the support they need to deliver faster, stronger, and better.
We believe in open source.
We believe in building together.
And now, we have a mechanism to make that happen at scale.
Get involved
Are you building something for Qubic?
Do you have an idea that could move the ecosystem forward?
Apply for a grant. Or, if you’re part of the community, help shape which projects get funded. Participate in discussions, give feedback, and vote when the time comes.
Because the future of Qubic isn’t being written by a single company — it’s being built by all of us.
